Valve has finally released Deadlock, a shooter with MOBA elements that has attracted tens of thousands of players at once

Valve has finally officially admitted that they are working on Deadlock, a hybrid 6v6 hero shooter and MOBA that was rumored for several months, and the game entered the testing phase later, so many were even able to play and share videos.

A short teaser trailer provided by Valve on the Deadlock page on Steamit hardly appears. It shows a character standing in front of a store and three mobs passing behind (line creeps) – and that’s about it. However, the genre tags on the Steam page confirm that Deadlock is indeed a third-person online shooter with MOBA elements.

Due to Valve’s decision not to make players sign a formal non-disclosure agreement (NDA) or comply with an embargo before the closed beta begins in May, many details about the game are already known. Players were asked to simply click on a pop-up asking them to “not share game information with anyone,” but this was easily avoided by not confirming any terms.

Overall, as players say, Deadlock is a very fun game that combines elements from several games – not only Overwatch 2 and Dota 2, but also Valorant, Smite, Team Fortress 2 and Orcs Must Die.

In short, Deadlock is now officially out for discussion and everyone can talk about it as much as they want. The Steam page also says that the game is “early in development,” but it will now be even easier to find videos about the game than before.
