Has no interest in creating a service.

Valve has commented that it would accept Game Pass on Steam and thinks it would be in the interest of Microsoft customers to see the service on the most popular PC platform.
In conversation with PC Game, Gabe Newell, CEO of Valve, commented that his company is not interested in creating a similar service and that they are open to receiving the one from Microsoft.
“I don’t think it’s something we have to do, build a service at this point. But for their customers, it’s clearly a popular option and we’d be happy to work with them to get it on Steam.”
Newell confirmed that they talk frequently with Microsoft Gaming and that this is one of the topics discussed between the two companies. Newell says that if Microsoft’s customers want it, the company will have to find a way to get it.
