SUSA – After the resignation of the head physician La Brocca, another blow to the future of the Medicine Department of the Susa Hospital. After 12 years of activity, the last “structured” and specialized doctor (with permanent and permanent position) left the Medicine Department of the Susa hospital: Dr. Andrea Bregnocchi requested and obtained the transfer to the Department of medicine of the Asti hospital.
After the farewells of La Brocca and Bregnocchi, therefore, today the Medicine department of the hospital in Susa no longer has fixed doctors on staff, but only with precarious and temporary positions. The chronic absence of doctors at the Susa hospital has been reported for years by the primary La Brocca, who resigned for just cause after the ASL had decided to “try” him from a disciplinary point of view for having reported the problems of healthcare in Valsusa.
Even before the resignation of Dr. La Brocca, the structured doctor Stefania Sanna, another doctor who had “a permanent job” in the hospital, had also resigned from the hospital in Susa.
“This is a great loss for our hospital, for the city of Susa and for the whole valley – commented the former regional councilor Stefania Batzella, midwife of the valsusino hospital – I greeted and thanked Dr. Bregnocchi, for all the work done over the years with commitment and professionalism. A very nice person, a doctor attentive to the needs of the sick, a tireless worker, always available, prepared and capable. Now, I hope from the bottom of my heart that the ASL will immediately launch a competition, first for the hiring of doctors and then for a new director. A team, if it does not have players, cannot play a match and cannot even have a coach ”.
It remains to ask, or rather to ask the ASL To3: why do regular doctors run away from the hospital in Susa? How come in 3 months both a head physician and a doctor resigned, the last in a permanent position, without forgetting the resignation of doctor Sanna?
Dr. Sanna resigned on 16 May 2020, La Brocca resigned on 19 October 2020 and today was the last day of Dr. Bregnocchi’s work: dear Asl To3, this is not the time to do something, Before it’s too late?
