The team-based PvP shooter Valorant from Riot Games was awarded for winning the “Best eSports Control of the Year” category at the Esports Awards 2024. The organizers of the awards announced the results live.
This is Valorant’s fourth victory in this category. The shooter from Riot Games was recognized as the best eSports game four years in a row. The last time another game won the award was in 2020, when League of Legends won, also created by Riot Games.
The 2024 Esports Awards ceremony will be held as part of the 2024 Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia. The award results were based on the opinion of the jury, as well as user voting. Previous organizers recognized Stanislava Malr1ne Potoraka from the inscription Falcons team Dota 2 is the best player in the Breakthrough of the Year category.
