As it has recently become known, the Chikungunya VLA1553 vaccine appears to be a complete success. Valneva reported a 99% serum response rate twelve months after the initial vaccination. Valneva now plans to apply for approval from the US Food and Drug Administration. The results will then be presented as part of an ongoing process.
