We have learned of the death of Mrs. Odile Bastien, which occurred on Thursday March 31 in Thionville, at the age of 80.
Born Mellinger on December 9, 1941 in Valmestroff, she lived in the locality.
Mrs. Bastien had married Mr. Eugène Bastien on April 22, 1963 in Valmestroff and had the pain of losing him on January 14, 1968.
From their union were born three children, Gabriel, Yvette and Marcel. A retired farmer, she was surrounded by the affection of five grandchildren, Quentin, Mathilde, Louise, Lise and Stéphanie.
The deceased rests in the funeral home of Elzange. The religious celebration will take place on Monday, April 4, at 3 p.m., in the Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens church in Elzange, followed by burial in the Valmestroff cemetery.
