The majority of the team is now working on the Mistlands update, developer Iron Gate Studios said in a post on Steam. However, that does not mean that the update is almost finished; in fact, Iron Gates can barely show any of it, except for one screenshot. That screenshot unfortunately seems to have been taken with a potato and shows an uninteresting grass environment:

The other two screenshots show the inside of a mountain – or so it seems, and this area can also be found in ‘the Mountains’. It’s part of a smaller update, which should be released before the Mistlands update sees the light of day. According to Iron Gate, this is done because creating a new biome like Mistlands takes quite a bit of time, and there must also be something fun to do in the meantime.
Iron Gate Studios says Hearth & Home could get some tweaks and minor updates, including bug fixes and balance changes. Outside of that, however, all attention will be on Mistlands in the near future, the update for which no release date has yet been announced.
