Because this is the formation that knows how to oppose the right, how to distinguish itself from the right and what is proposed by the right to the detriment of Bulgarian society. This was stated in the program “The day begins with Georgi Lyubenov” on BNT, Valeri Zhablyanov, candidate of “LEVITSATA!” for people’s representative in the city of Plovdiv and Vratsa. He noted that the right-wing governments today are leading our country to ruin, and any left-wing politics is missing because the left is sick. This is precisely where the role of “THE LEFT!” comes in – to return the authentic left to Bulgaria – in service and care for Bulgarians.
„„THE LEFT!’ is stamped with the authority of its personalities, with our biography, with our battles in parliament for the survival of the left. The left in Bulgaria must clearly, uncompromisingly in the legislative process, independently in government or in opposition, defend the social rights written in the Bulgarian constitution, where it is written that the state of Bulgaria is a social state. This is our guiding policy and our credo, and we will defend it by all means.”
Zablyanov is adamant that “THE LEFT!” does not perceive his participation in power as an end in itself. “THE LEFT!” is a formation that knows how to oppose the right, how to distinguish who are the right and how they harm the Bulgarian society.
„Bulgaria and Bulgarian citizens do not need any government, Bulgarians do not need Kiril Petkov and Boyko Borisov, who are to blame for what Bulgaria is today. Mrs. Ninova was the Minister of the Economy and, fighting inflation, put an illuminated sign on the entrance of the ministry about the cost of flour. And on top of that, they consider Bulgarians to be people with a weak memory who don’t remember what happened only 12 months ago.”
Valery Zhablyanov emphasized that there is a lack of an adequate left in the whole of Europe and predicted events similar to those in France and in the other countries of the Old Continent.
„The right today offers us speculation, uncontrolled prices, because it tells us that this is the market. This is not a bargain. The German shareholders of the food chains in our country are waiting for their profits, and the profits are given to them by the Bulgarian citizens, who buy butter at 8 BGN. Prices, inflation need an overall economic policy of a different type.”
Valery Zhablyanov pointed out that “THE LEFT!” in the parliament will be a sharp and radical position on all attempts to join Bulgaria to the military conflict in Ukraine.
„The Euro-Atlantic idea is not to wage war without end. This idea is waging war in Ukraine with proxy entities. Europe is looking and will fight for peace. Truth always falls victim to war and becomes clear after war.’
Valery Zablyanov is adamant that Bulgaria needs a completely new economic philosophy and program – a program that only the left can offer, because the right offers us only what we see at the moment. The right offers us specula, uncontrollable prices, he explained and added that “THE LEFT!” is for a new distribution of burdens and a new distribution of the gross domestic product, of the national wealth.
