Guest of the Grand Live du Voyage d’Affaires, a CDS Groupe event, Valérie Boned, president of Entreprises du Voyage (EDV), was able to demonstrate that the union was certainly not losing interest in business travel.
“We are more likely to think that Travel Companies represent the leisure sector, which is obviously the case, but not only. 70% of what our members produce concerns business travel,” she recalled, specifying that “all the large TMCs are members of the union, as are local, integrated and voluntary networks like Manor.”
Valérie Boned also cited the role of the EDV as that of negotiating with suppliers in order to establish a basic foundation.
“Our role is not commercial. We rely on technical commissions including that of Transport, managed by Valérie Sasset (BCD Travel).
We try to bring together all the stakeholders who are stakeholders in the value chain, the member companies, but we also listen to our suppliers, rail and airlines, mainly Air France. »
