“In the beginning it was a shock, you don’t understand anything, the commotion begins – organizing the funeral, the press… Literally 15 minutes later, we were already called, even though we were still in the hospital. We were in such a state that we couldn’t answer anyone,” Galina said.

The woman informed that her father had regular examinations, his condition had even begun to improve, but metastases appeared, which could no longer be eliminated.

Foreign clinics refused to accept the fashion artist, and he was treated in Russia. Until last year, Valentin continued to work, writes “TheVoiceMag”.

“Before the head operation, he worked constantly, there were filming, interviews, shows. He flew everywhere. But after the operation, that was it, he couldn’t draw, couldn’t remember anything. It completely shocked him. He became a different person. He wasn’t that dad anymore , whom everyone remembered – funny. He didn’t understand that he was leaving,” said the designer’s daughter.

Yudashkin’s funeral was attended by his star friends, including Alla Pugacheva, who currently lives in Israel. Many said at the time that no one wanted to contact the emigrant at the farewell ceremony.

Galina confirmed that the situation was not pleasant for negotiations. “She was in herself. People understood that it is better not to approach now, because this is not the moment, and not because they would not have greeted her in principle,” said the fashion designer’s daughter.

A month and a half before his death, Valentine visited Alla in Israel. “She supported my mother and me, said that everything will be normal, that she is always in touch and will always support her,” the woman said.
