Trifonov secretly accepted half of his ministers from GERB and the other half from DPS
“The show continues!”the analyst Valentin Vacev began his comment to the BNR with this finding.
He emphasized that Bulgaria is in a final and hopeless crisis of legitimacybecause two out of every three Bulgarians refuse to engage in politics.
“According to the central law of postmodern political logic, according to which politics is developed in our country now, everyone knows that there is a difference between politics and show, but no one can show the line that separates them. … In this sense Slavi Trifonov has reason to consider himself the master of the situation and to imagine that his next show is already within the overall Bulgarian political process”.
According to the analyst the time has come for a female Prime Minister and predicted that Trifonov would make such a proposal:
“The problem is not whether the prime minister will be a man or a woman. … The best way would be for Slavi Trifonov to quietly accept half of his ministers from GERB and the other half from DPS, with a few bright figures from him (ITN) to attract attention. … With Slavi, every saying is penultimate. He believes that the situation is in his hands, but he is wrong. The boss of the Bulgarian show business is no longer him, but in another place“.
This “other place” in the words of Vatsev are circles that invisibly connect ITN with GERB, with the remnants of NDSV, as well as with DPS.
“There is a circle of people who are not in visible political positions, but they enjoy influence – some of them were prime ministers, others were in the upper echelons of power, we know them. There is nothing strange in this. They will put the weights like this that a government will emerge that will be extremely exotic but will enjoy the passive support of three parliamentary political forces“.
According to the analyst, the State Department of The USA no longer has nerves and this is the external factor that can assure us that Bulgaria will have a government this time.
“This time, the Bulgarians are obliged to form a government that will be whatever they want, but it will have to ensure the presence of North Macedonia in the EU. That is. whatever government emerges, it will have the not-so-pleasant task of finding arguments to accept Macedonian participation in the EU. It will instantly lose public support, but that will no longer matter.”
Valentin Vacev predicts that “the Bulgarian political technologists” will have to provide a government that is acceptable to GERB and Slavi Trifonov. According to the analyst Trifonov has already played his part.
There will be no deep change of the modelthe analyst emphasized and specified that the government he expects to be formed will have a lifespan between 9 months and 1 year.
