The streets of l’Olivereta and Patraix will be the setting this weekend for the first edition of the ‘València con la Seguridad Vial’ Race, which is part of the Popular Racing Circuit, and which has been organized by the Stop Accidents Foundation and the Local Police of Valencia, with the collaboration of the Municipal Sports Foundation. The test will take place this Sunday, November 6, between 09:00 and 10:10, through the western districts of the city.
The route planned by the organization will run along the following route: calle de Enguera and avenue de Tres Forques until reaching the height of Pérez Galdós, to continue along the streets of Cuenca, Pío XI, Fontanars dels Aforins, avenues del Archiduke Carlos and de Tres Creus, with turn through Tres Forques until the intersection again with Calle de Enguera. At this point, the runners will make a 180º turn and continue in the opposite direction again along Avenida de Tres Forques and Calle Santa Cruz de Tenerife, until they reach the inner courtyard of the Local Police Headquarters.
Effects on road traffic
The assembly of the exit in Enguera street will take place between 06:00 and 08:30 on Sunday, and the reopening of the traffic cuts along the itinerary will be carried out progressively, according to the passage of people participants, have reported from the Traffic Management Center.
