Valencia MotoGP Test 2023 Results: Maverick Vinales Sets Fastest Time

Rider Aprilia Maverick Vinales So the fastest in the official 2023 Valencia MotoGP test. Marc Marquez showed a positive signal with Gresini after finishing fourth.

The MotoGP post season test took place at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Valencia on Monday (28/11) from 10.00 to 17.00 local time.

Marquez took the spotlight for riding a Ducati motorbike on the race track for the first time after spending 11 years with Honda. Reported Crash, The eight-time world champion seemed to immediately adapt to the GP23.

Marc Marquez had a good start by being in third position at the start of the session. The Spanish rider then posted the fastest time of around 1 minute 29 seconds on the 46th lap of the 49 laps completed.

Marquez then improved his time before Vinales, who consistently went fast, took over at the top of the rider list.

The spotlight is also directed at Luca Marini, the younger brother of MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi. Marini made his debut on a Honda motorbike after officially leaving the VR46 racing team. Still from Crash, the Italian racer showed decent speed as the test progressed before finishing tenth.

Meanwhile back to back MotoGP world champion Francesco Bagnaia did quite well when trying out the new Ducati GP24 motorbike. Even though Bagnaia only finished this trial in eleventh position, above Fabio Quartararo. Meanwhile, 2023 MotoGP runner-up Jorge Martin is said to have quite good speed despite falling twice.

The next official MotoGP test will only be held in February 2024 at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia.
