The second day of the French road speed championship started well with good weather. Then the rain quite disturbed the very end of the afternoon. So that the 100-meter duels, postponed from the day before, could not be contested. The last races, including the finals, therefore took place on a wet track. This did not prevent the senior Victor Aerts from offering his club Valence-d’Agen Roller 2 Rives a gold medal in the 400 m speed lap in front of two Normans. His comrade Edwin de Souza failed in fourth place in the same final. Over 10,000m, Robin Duez won a new national title in veterans 1, Gabriel Fregona won silver in V2 and Jean-Marie Coustès bronze in V3. Good competition on the road from Chloé Moulis who gave concrete form to her form with two third places in the round tournament and the 15,000m elimination tournament. It should be noted the good behavior of Antonia Fernandez, Amélie Durand and Mathys Roiatti who stalled at the foot of the podium.
The weather conditions will apparently be much more pleasant this weekend, for the skaters and for the public.
Yesterday evening, the final of the American race took place which is always an impressive exercise in style. Also to watch, the finals of the points races scheduled today Saturday July 10 from 4 pm, unless unforeseen!
