The rugby derby of Val d’Oise almost lived up to its promises.
First, it’s the RCA Cergy-Pontoise ((RCACP) who taught the lesson to Domontois stadium, Sunday, November 17, 2019, during the match of teams B, at the warbler stage (Domont): 65-5 for visitors!
Then it was the Domontois who clearly dominated the Cergypontains, in A. A very clear victory (48-10) for the second in the ranking of the hen 1 of Federal 3, and the heaviest defeat this season for tenths of the standings. The score is certainly severe for the RCACP, but it indicates the difference between a team sure of its strength and another which doubts since the start of the championship.
Endowed with a conquering melee, the Domontois showed a greater impact, in the image ofHausia which pierced the opposing lines more than once.
“We prepared for this match by working on defense, intensity, training, and we were rewarded”, underlined the second line Gomes.
“We made the choice to play, we won, but let’s stay humble from A to Z”, warned the co-coach Alexis Driollet, addressing his players after the game.
