The preface to the book is by Julian Alaphilippe. A runner that our friend and colleague knows well for having devoted an article to him in 2018 entitled I know my father was watching me.
An article that had earned Jean-Luc Gatellier the summer of 2019, the Jacques-Goddet and Antoine-Blondin Prizes. This article followed the heart attack suffered by the runner’s father in early 2018.
Jean-Luc Gatellier is the first double winner of the Jacques-Goddet Prize since its creation in 2004. As for the Antoine-Blondin Prize, it is awarded to a journalist or a writer, for his articles, his sports books.
