Borrowing the traditional form of cabaret, the show The Shiver Cabaret, which will occur at Thursday 1 October 2020 at Sarcelles (Val-d’Oise), mixes texts, songs, magic tricks, numbers which have in common to approach the theme of food.
This cabaret is presented as a menu where different dishes and desserts are juxtaposed. We say texts where it is about food in all its forms and desires.
Song of all genres
Valère Novarina is summoned there as well as Pierre Dac, Eugène Durif, Alphonse Allais, Roland Topor. You can hear songs of all kinds, from Henri Salvador to Nino Ferrer through Cajun music and Offenbach’s operetta.
We see magic tricks, in particular the famous trick of “sleight-of-hand bottles”, juggling and diabolo numbers …
