Val-d’Oise: a work network hidden in the construction industry dismantled, 5.2 million euros confiscated

Four dog teams, investigators from the Unit for the Fight against Illegal Work and Fraud (CELTIF 95) and the Air Transport Research Section (SRTA), supported by nearly 100 gendarmes from the Ile-de-France region, arrested, Tuesday, fourteen individuals.

They would be involved in a work network hidden in the construction industry and in its laundering in an organized gang. Eight main suspects, referred and presented to an examining magistrate, were indicted. Seven were taken into custody with warrants of committal this weekend.

5.2 million euros seized

Under the control of the Pontoise public prosecutor’s office, the investigators updated, after nine months of preliminary investigation, this vast organized network of hidden money laundering, via real estate acquisitions and international flows.
