The department of Meurthe-et-Moselle is not limited to the agglomeration of Nancy. For several days, a certain vagueness surrounded the question of the place of vaccination of the inhabitants of the district of Briey. More precisely, those residing in what is pictorially called the duck neck. Because, in the north, on the Longwy basin, the device has been set up within the Hôtel-Dieu, in Mont-Saint-Martin, with effective vaccinations since last week, at least with regard to caregivers. Moreover, the management of the hospital did not refuse caregivers from more distant areas, such as Audunois.
As a reminder, the Briey hospital center began, since January 12, the vaccination of residents of its nursing homes (Stern and Les Merisiers), as well as that of health professionals of the hospital center aged over 50 years, or less. age 50 with comorbidity. Their vaccination continues its course from weekly supplies of vaccines from the CHR of Metz-Thionville.

From this Tuesday January 19: lThe novelty is that from this Tuesday, January 19, liberal health professionals over 50, or under 50 with comorbidity, from the territory of Briey will also be able to come and be vaccinated in Maillot. We are talking about the municipalities going from Saint-Julien-lès-Gorze, in the south, to Domprix, in the west, via Beuvillers or even Jœuf. Appointments will be made online on Doctolib: the slots will be open on the morning of January 19. The vaccinations will take place in a dedicated and secure space within Maillot.
From Tuesday January 26: a second vaccination space will also open in Maillot; it will be dedicated to people over 75 years old residing in the same territory of Briey. Online appointments are possible from January 20 on Doctolib or on a platform whose access will be communicated later by the CHR.
In addition, the CHR recalls “the interest of providing for a pre-vaccination consultation with your attending physician”.
The supply of vaccines to the center, for the vaccination of liberal health professionals and people over 75 years old, will be provided by the Nancy CHRU.
