During a control in Bertrange on Wednesday, October 6 at around 9 a.m., the customs officers of Thionville found themselves facing a vehicle which refused to comply and fled. A radio message is broadcast. Message heard by the gendarmes of the Motorized Peloton of Val de Briey, who immediately set off. The vehicle was seen and stopped on the A4 near Parfondrupt (55), after refusing to stop a second time. Inside, two men in their forties, from Évreux (Normandy), were carrying 37.5 kg of tobacco. They were placed in customs detention, before being released. They will soon be summoned to a Thionville court to answer for their actions.
