* Benchmark results may vary greatly depending on various factors such as part configuration, environment, timing and individual differences.
CPU performance
The older generation Ryzen 3 4300U is used as the CPU. Since two generations have already passed, the performance is noticeably more modest than the current generation CPU. That said, it can be used seamlessly for searching the internet, watching videos, and creating small documents.

graphics performance
As for the graphics function, Radeon Graphics with integrated CPU is used. The performance is quite low. The effect cannot be expected with games and graphics software. It is for light work only.

The comfort of working with a PC
PCMark10 is a benchmark test that measures the comfort of working with a PC. As it is intended for common tasks, the tests are relatively light. The trends in each test are “Essentials” (general use) for single-core CPU performance and storage performance, “Productivity” (business use) for multi-core CPU performance and memory performance, and “Creation of digital content “(content creation) for multi-core Performance and storage, GPU performance seems to have a strong influence.
The benchmark test results are not bad. You can see that even the older generation Ryzen 3 4300U can handle light work without any problems. However, it still looks like it’s still not as good as a high-performance PC.

battery life
The nominal battery life is approximately 7.5 hours. In general, the battery life rating is not the measurement result assuming actual use, so driving time tends to be shorter in actual use.
However, when I used the VAIO FL15 to measure the driving time for work job (web browsing, document creation, video chat, etc.) at peak performance, it went into hibernation in 7 hours and 40 minutes from Start. About 7.67 hours, which is almost equal to the face value. Changing the power plan or screen brightness can further extend battery life.

VAIO economical and convenient
* This product has already been discontinued.
Speaking of VAIO, you may have a high quality but high price image. Sure, it’s a high-end PC that’s reasonably priced for mobile use, but the VAIO FL15 is for families and general users only. The price is usually close at hand.
However, even so, the CPU is Ryzen 3 4300U and 99,800 yen (price at the time of sale) is not cheap. If it is a foreign manufacturer, the market price will be between 60,000 and 80,000 yen. This model is not an “Azumino FINISH” house assembly, so it is for people who appreciate the VAIO brand and support.
