The Covid-19 will not have got the better of the performance of Väderstad, which announces that it has worked almost normally for most of 2020. The Swedish industrialist thus concludes the 2020 financial year with, once again, a record turnover established at 340 million euros, against 335 million euros the previous year. Its operating profit increased by 23%, from 172 million euros in 2019 to 212 million euros in 2020. These good results are the result of the constant increase in equipment sales in recent years, with in particular + 43% between 2017 and 2020. Important markets such as Sweden, Germany, France and Russia continue to grow and Canada sees its sales grow significantly. The French subsidiary does not communicate its results, but its director, François Doisy, declares having had an exceptional year, with 10.5% increase in turnover in France.
