The supermarket chain Lidl announced the immediate recall from the shelves of its stores of a household appliance for possible fire risk. As Lidl’s notice, dated September 24, states, the recall took place as a precaution because “the risk of potential fire cannot be excluded of some appliances during use or during the recharging phases “. For usto reason “the company Hoyer Handel GmbH recommends all consumers to pay attention to the recall notice, avoiding continuing to use this item, as well as the battery supplied”.

The product affected by the recall was sold by Lidl Italia Srl starting from 17 September this year. Anyone who has already purchased the vacuum cleaner covered by the notice can return it to all Lidl supermarkets. The purchase price will be totally refunded even without a receipt. The recall only affects the item indicated. “Other items under the“ Silvercrest ”brand are absolutely not involved, as well as other products from the Hoyer Handel GmbH company,” the supermarket chain explains, explaining that the company Hoyer Handel GmbH apologizes to all involved for the inconvenience caused.
