A total of 15 of the 22 congressmen who are part of the Peru-China Parliamentary Friendship League issued a statement in which they declare under oath that they have not received a COVID-19 vaccine from the Sinopharm laboratory.
Through the document published on the Parliament’s institutional twitter account, the legislators rejected “Any kind of insinuation that involves us within the high officials who have acted in a despicable way”.

Along these lines, the legislators who signed the document urged the authorities to carry out the pertinent investigations in order to identify those responsible for the Vacunagate.
“We urge the competent authorities to carry out the pertinent inquiries in order to identify those responsible and assume the corresponding administrative, criminal and political responsibility. From the Congress of the Republic we will do the same. promoting the creation of a Multiparty Investigative Commission in charge of investigating the alleged irregularities in the acquisition and distribution of vaccines”They indicate.
The signing congressmen were Mónica Saavedra, Leonardo Inga, Valeria Valer, Mariano Yupanqui, Robinson Gupioc, José Antonio Nuñez Salas, Yessy Fabian, Moisés González, Luis Valdez, Martires Lizana, Marcos Pichilingue, Gilbert Alonzo, Gilmer Trujillo, Ricardo Burga and Martha Chávez .
