Václav Neckář will celebrate his 80th birthday this year. Marta Kubišová also promised to attend his celebratory concert. He may even sing with his longtime friend. Unfortunately, the return of the legendary band Golden Kids will not take place. Singer Helena Vondráčková cannot attend the concert due to work obligations.
Václav Neckář decided to hold the logs in style and prepared a birthday concert. His colleagues and closest friends should not be missing from him. “Marta Kubišová will be there in the audience if she is healthy. I hope they sing together. If she’s healthy, sure.” the singer’s brother Jan Neckář revealed to TN.cz.
A big question arose as to whether the entire Golden Kids group could meet again on stage, where Helena Vondráčková also sang with Kubišová and Neckár. “You have to ask Helenka about that. She knows about the concert, but she told us that she is in Slovakia. But she got the invitation,” added Neckár’s brother.
However, Vondraček’s mind completely disappeared. “Holy Mary, I don’t even know what I have on that day, I have to look. How much is it? And where is it and what time is it?” the singer asked us. In the end, however, it turned out that by the time of the concert she really had something. “Ms. Vondráčková has work commitments on October 22,” her manager clarified later.
Unfortunately, the audience will not see the return of the popular band from the 60s. “We definitely won’t sing as Golden Kids, because we haven’t sung together in about 150 years and secondly, we don’t have anything rehearsed. I don’t think it’s realVondráčková explained.
