Jakarta: Vaccine Covid-19 will be prioritized for health workers. They are the group most vulnerable to exposure and affect treatment covid-19 in the long run.
“The loss of health personnel is very dangerous because it can put the domestic health system under threat collapse (paralyzed), ”said Covid-19 vaccine spokesperson, Reisa Broto Asmoro, in a written statement, Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
Reisa said there were around 507 health workers who died during the ten months of the Covid-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, a competent health worker in education takes four to seven years.
“While 100 thousand covid-19 patients are waiting to get health services,” he said.

Reisa said the government had brought in three million doses of the Covid-19 Sinovac vaccine. The vaccine will be injected into 1.3 million health workers in Indonesia.
Reisa asked health workers to maintain their health even though there is a vaccine. This is important in order to maintain the safety of yourself and others.
Reisa also ensures that the Covid-19 vaccine is safe. Experienced health professionals have assisted the vaccine assessment process during phase 1, 2 and 3 clinical trials.
“And what we are currently waiting for is efficacy, namely the percentage reduction in the incidence of disease in the vaccinated group,” he explained.
