On Tuesday the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) in Chihuahua began a series of seasonal flu vaccinations to health personnel working in the entity’s entities.
They comment that the above is part of the national flu vaccination campaign for the 2022-2023 seasonal season, which started on October 3 and announce that it will end on March 31, 2023.
In this sense, they stated that the goal of the above is to immunize children from 4 years to 11 months and adults over 60 years of age.
In this way, the head of the IMSS in the state, Dr. Enrique Ureña Bogarín, stressed that “the entity has highly qualified personnel to apply the vaccine and achieve the goals set for this occasion,” he said.
“We ask Chihuahuas to protect themselves and their loved ones this season when low temperatures are expected in much of the state,” he concluded.
Finally, it should be noted that in order to qualify for vaccination, it is applied in the areas of Preventive Medicine, which are located at the Family Medicine Units (FMU), which have established working hours from 8:00 to 8:00 pm .
