Basically from week to week I wonder if there are any boundaries these days. Certainly not when it comes to issues such as morality and decency. I learned that in Warsaw, and probably not only here, you can get a covid passport … without vaccination, you only need to pay.
From the very beginning of the pandemic, the entire healthcare system was on the lips of all Poles. In fact, well-deserved congratulations were flowing to the medics, paramedics, nurses and doctors from all sides. As a society, we would like to thank them that in this unexpected fight against the epidemic, they were the ones who were in the front line. Undoubtedly, we should be grateful to all those who have so bravely protected us and continue to protect us from disease. Their effort would probably be increasingly futile, were it not for the fact that access to vaccines is now completely universal. Currently, anyone willing can get vaccinated. Maybe, but still doesn’t have to. It does not have to, but it is becoming more and more profitable to be vaccinated. Anti-vaccines and other immoral people began to fear ostracism from failing to vaccinate.
Covid certificate = vacation
It seems to me that our readers belong to the group of very conscious citizens, so I do not think that I need to write about the advantages of vaccination in this text. We can hear about vaccinations everywhere. Campaigns are carried out on the Internet, on television and on radio broadcasts to convince as many people as possible to vaccinate. Lilacs are necessary to protect our health and our relatives’ health, especially those in high-risk groups.
Everyone who has ever lived here knows that Poland is a specific country. As a society, we can only unite in the face of great tragedies. Besides, even then we unite only to return to mutual infusion after a while with double strength. This was the case, for example, in the case of the Pope’s death, as well as five years later, in the face of the Smolensk catastrophe. However, back to the topic of vaccination. The holiday everyone wants to go on is approaching. It is easier for vaccinated people, of course. After all, it is not about rewarding those who have already vaccinated. It is simply a preventive strategy, thanks to which we can try to live a normal life, leave home, go to restaurants or just go on vacation in the face of the still prevailing pandemic.
Thus, I would like to express my surprise, astonishment, embarrassment, but above all disgust at the present situation. Well, I learned from several different ones that in Warsaw itself there are at least several different doctors who will issue you a certificate confirming vaccination for a fee (PLN 500). They will leave them out a moment after the contents of the vaccine ampoule have been poured into the sink.
First, do no harm
It is worth emphasizing that the rules of medical ethics applicable all over the world derive from the laws written by the Greek physician Hippocrates in the 5th century BC. In Poland, students graduating from medicine and then undertaking medical practice undertake to abide by the Medical Pledge. The promise is part of the Code of Medical Ethics. Its content refers to the Geneva declaration and the Hippocratic Oath. By taking the oath, the doctors are adept first of all, they undertake not to harm.
In fact, I am unable to grasp the scale of this fall. A close friend of mine graduated from the medical faculty. 6 long years of study full of exams, cramping, sleepless nights. Undoubtedly, medical studies continue to be one of the greatest intellectual challenges that can be faced after graduation. In addition, after the period spent in university benches, an appropriate specialization should still be completed. Summa summarum 9 long years of hard learning. All the more, it is even more difficult for me to understand how it is possible that in Warsaw itself there are many doctors who, for an extra fee, will direct the syringe with the vaccine into your arm straight to the sink.
I cannot understand it. As for PLN 500, you can do something like this. This means that there are probably several doctors in Warsaw itself, as long as you can still use this term for these people, who by their actions cause great harm to us as a society. For what kind of moral garbage can you need to decide on such activity.
The very fact that such phenomena occur is very disturbing because we have no idea how many of the issued covid certificates are not covered by the number of actually vaccinated ones. The above is great information for anti-vaccine formation. Since there are actually fewer vaccinates than indicated by the data, this also affects the effectiveness of all vaccines. Thus, tribes of anti-vaccines, thanks to such doctors, receive arguments that will be used in the public debate over the meaning of vaccination.
