Vaccine skeptic tried to trick the vaccine center

Despite their realistic skin color and texture, however, the vaccine staff did not let the arm prosthesis fool them. The man, who is in his 50s, has been reported to the police.

The incident happened on Thursday in the northwestern city of Biella.

– This would have bordered on the comic if it had not been about an action of a very serious nature. The action is unacceptable when you consider what our entire society has sacrificed through this pandemic, both in terms of deaths, as well as social and economic costs, says regional president Albert Cirio in Piedmont.

Since August, Italians have had to show a valid corona passport to enter restaurants, museums, cinemas and sporting events.

Corona passports are also mandatory at all workplaces in the country. Italian police recently uncovered 280 unvaccinated health workers after a comprehensive round check. Health workers have been required to be vaccinated since April.
