What you will be responsible for?
1. Define the marketing strategy for company all products currently in the China market
1) Develop and implement the annual marketing plan
2) Contribute to the design of the ten-year Country Strategic Plan (CSP) and propose 3-year budget plan
3) Lead and drive cross functional team in general to achieve the annual financial objectives and ensure the agreed long-term objectives are achieved
4) Provide direction in assessing market trends & improve analytics usage for decision making process and for seeking short and long-term opportunities
2. Establish company products’ long-term brand image
1) Manage and uphold the company’s key product and image and maintain good rapport with customers and relevant (government) authorities. Ensuring the agreed business plans and marketing programs are implemented with high quality
2) Co-work with cross-functional team to drive effective marketing programs and promotional activities and events
3. Support in all aspects of product marketing delivering expected results through:
1) All the stages of product Life Cycle Management
2) Develop market strategy and expansion for private and public
3) Develop new channels and initiatives to grow the business and evolve the business model
4) Anticipate changes in the environment and plan accordingly
4. Lead the development of new customers segments and new ways to reach customers
1) Foster innovative customer engagement models to strengthen SP leadership in vaccine industry
2) Lead the development and integration of digital marketing by providing expertise and guidance.
3) Formulate and optimize Physician team business model for business expansion and model duplication.
4) Develop, test and optimize working processes and systems to support GP for expected recommendation behavior in routine practice and the continuous increase of flu vaccination rate
5. Responsible for the corporate image building up
1) Design the projects to promote the corporate branding image in public and HCP
2) Leading cross-functional team to develop and implement the corporate branding strategy and actions
6. Team Management & ensure continuous improvement
1) Develop team member for technic improvement and career development
2) Ensure all team behaviours are under compliance requirements
3) Ensure enhancement of marketing capabilities in close collaboration with Global Field Excellence / Sales Effectiveness teams, in SP and Sanofi
4) Build Marketing competencies
Who you are?
Education:
- Bachelor degree or above in sales/marketing or related field
- Healthcare related education background is not necessary, but add more value
- MBA background is preferred
Experience & knowledge:
- At least 10 years sales, marketing, strategic planning experience in a similar position in the pharmaceutical industry
- A proven track record in leading, coaching and developing a sales organization.
- Knows the key technical and functional skills needed to do the job; understands various types of business propositions and understands how businesses operate in general; learns new methods and technical skills easily.
- Strong experience in cross-functional work and a strong influencer.
- Industry/product knowledge with pharmaceutical industry
