Vaccine Availability in Itapúa: Yellow Fever, MMR, and SR Vaccines Now Accessible at Regional Hospital

Vaccine availability in Itapúa: Protect your health!

Doctor Claudia Rodríguez, in charge of the Expanded Immunization Program in the Itapúa region, reports on the availability of vaccines against yellow fever, measles, rubella and mumps.

Dr. Claudia Rodríguez, head of the Program, has announced that vaccines against yellow fever are currently available in all vaccination centers in the department. In addition, there are doses of the complete MMR biological, which protects against measles, rubella and mumps, as well as the SR vaccine for adults.

Dr. Rodríguez recommends applying the yellow fever vaccine at least 15 days before traveling to Brazil, so that the biological has time to take effect. Likewise, she invites citizens to go to the vaccination center at the Regional Hospital, which is open from Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturdays from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm

The doctor emphasizes that being vaccinated is not the same as being immunized, since the biological takes time to take effect in the body.

The availability of vaccines in Itapúa is an excellent opportunity to protect our health. Dr. Claudia Rodríguez reminds us of the importance of getting vaccinated and invites us to go to the vaccination center at the Regional Hospital to receive the necessary doses.

Let’s not wait any longer and ensure our protection against diseases.
