The Minister of Health, Kailesh Jagutpal, announced this Friday, March 12, that Mauritius will soon receive other shipments of vaccines from India and China.
India will thus provide 330,000 doses of their vaccine to Mauritius. China, for its part, will send 100,000 new doses for the vaccination campaign, which should resume on Monday, March 15.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Health and Welfare recorded 43 new cases of COVID-19 on the evening of March 11, 2021.
The island has a total of 99 local cases since March 5.
