To notebooks, pens and other binders, customers of the Carrefour shopping center in Montluçon may be able to add vaccination on their back-to-school list. A new vaccination operation in supermarkets is taking place this week, in the Allier.
So it will be tomorrow and Thursday at Carrefour in Montluçon. The principle is simple: allow anyone wishing to receive their injection on site, without an appointment. On the strength of a first successful experience at the beginning of the month, the Regional Health Agency (ARS) hopes to get as close as possible to the population, just before the start of the school year.
Julien Néasta is a sanitary engineer at the Allier delegation of the ARS.
The ARS hopes in particular to target 12-17 year olds, a few days before the start of the school year.
Today, 72% of 12-17 year olds have received at least one injection in the Allier, 47% have a complete vaccination schedule. On the general population, we are at 80% of Bourbonnais fully vaccinated, 71% for those who are only partially.
This operation at Carrefour Montluçon takes place Wednesday and Thursday from 9 am to 7 pm. Then the 1is and September 2 at the same times.
