With the motto “Get up to date, each vaccine counts”, the Ministry of Health (MINSA) will develop Vaccination Week in the Americas from April 22 to 29 with various activities in various districts of Lima, Callao and regions. The objective is to position vaccination in the community so that they complete their Regular Scheme vaccines, as well as their doses against Covid-19

During these days you will be vaccinated against diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, hepatitis B, influenza, poliomyelitis, measles, rubella, mumps, chicken pox, tuberculosis, meningitis, yellow fever, pneumonia, rotavirus diarrhea and cervical cancer due to Papilloma Virus Human (HPV).

In this way, Peru joins the countries of the Americas to celebrate the 21st Vaccination Week in the Americas so that children, adolescents, pregnant women and older adults complete their vaccination. In addition, the Minsa remembers that the Regular Scheme vaccines are always available to all people.

The Minsa reminds families that Peru has one of the best vaccination schemes in the Americas because it includes 18 vaccines against 28 diseases. For this reason, it calls on them to go to the nearest health facility to complete the missing vaccine.
