The pace of vaccination has been accelerating recently. The highest number of vaccinated per day has been reported so far last Thursday – over 105,000. The Czech Republic received more than 100,000 vaccinated people three times last week, twice this week – on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Vaccination was closed on Wednesday for more than 52,000 people.

In total, around 5.5 million doses were administered in the Czech Republic. According to Wednesday’s data, 1,525,567 people had completed vaccinations. Over 79 percent of those vaccinated received Comirnaty vaccine from Pfizer / BionTech.

For the time being, people from the age of 30 can register for vaccination. Vaccination registration will open for people between the ages of 16 and 29 from Friday.
