Vaccination Reaches More than 20 Thousand Recipients, Vaccine Stock is Redistributed to Malinau Inland Area

Head of the Malinau P2KB Health Office, John Felix Rundupadang, explained that this September his party was again prioritizing vaccination for the recipients of the first dose.

Especially in a number of areas where vaccination coverage is still minimal due to the limited availability of vaccines a few months ago.

Previously, the Malinau P2KB Health Office received a number of additional vaccine stocks that were prioritized for recipients of the first dose,

First week of September, Malinau District received an additional 700 vials of Moderna Vaccine and 475 vials of Sinovac vaccine.

The available supply of vaccines will be prioritized to support limited face-to-face learning in the Malinau district, including in remote and border areas.

“For areas that are far from the city, it will be redistributed. The mechanism is the same as yesterday, sent to the sub-district, later the sub-district will drop it to villages that will hold vaccinations,” he said.
