Vaccination points on departures from the capital – Diario La Tribuna

The Honduran Institute of Social Security (IHSS) has installed vaccination brigades against COVID-19 in the different exits of Tegucigalpa and other parts of the country.

The inoculation days will be held from 8:00 in the morning until 2:00 in the afternoon throughout Holy Week so that vacationers can be more protected during the holidays.

The health personnel are applying the first, second and third doses of the anticovid vaccine to all the people who go to the IHSS brigades, installed at the control points of the Permanent Contingency Commission (Copeco).

In Francisco Morazán, vaccination has been installed at the four exits from Tegucigalpa, on the road to El Zamorano, at the height of Villa Vieja, El Tizatillo post, and at the post located in Promdeca, at the exit to Olancho.

In the department of Cortés, in San Pedro Sula, on the detour to Guaruma and exit to El Progreso, Yoro. While in Choloma, they are installed in Río Nance, and in Villanueva in front of the Fire Department and at the exit to Pimienta.

For his part, the head of the Ministry of Health, José Manuel Matheu, reported that during the Easter holiday, vaccination points against the new coronavirus will be installed in tourist centers with the highest influx of people.

“We are talking about the most important beaches of Tela, La Ceiba, Puerto Cortés, Amapala, in order to bring the vaccine closer to the people and call on the population to get immunized,” he specified.
