Leon, Gto. The constant drop in coronavirus infections in Guanajuato is due to the increase in anticovid vaccination.
This was stated by the Secretary of Health of Guanajuato, Daniel Díaz Martínez, who explained that at the moment more than 9 million doses have been applied in the entity between first and second doses, as well as their reinforcements.
“We are a little short of positive cases right now, the truth is that hospitalizations have fortunately dropped a lot, they do not exceed 2.5 percent at this time.”
He explained that the members of the Ministry of Health and other dependencies are doing an extraordinary job that has managed to decrease and have few patients at this time.
“But it also depends on social behavior and vaccination is the reflection that cases, hospitalizations and deaths have decreased.”
He commented that in recent weeks the cases of Covid-19 have been reported on the decline, however, he urged the population to continue with sanitary measures and vaccination.
“We have applied more than 9 million biologicals in the state up to now between first, second doses and reinforcements.”
He added that the Ministry of Health continues to serve people lagging behind in vaccination, although there are not many.
“There are already few people who come to request a first dose. And whatever the cause may have been for not applying at the time, we are here to facilitate the process and with great pleasure, “he said.
