Gütersloh district. For days, a number of people over 80 in the Gütersloh district tried to get an appointment for their corona vaccination – many of them in vain. First the hotlines were overloaded, then all appointments were gone. Just like in the rest of Germany, the start of appointments was pretty chaotic. In the meantime, the vaccination center in the former Naafi shop has opened, but it is still fairly early days. According to the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians Westphalia-Lippe (KVWL) in the Gütersloh district, 5,787 people have now received the first dose; 3,851 already the second. 178 …
