Next Tuesday, July 6, the vaccination of adults between 30 and 39 years of age will begin in five municipalities, the local government reported.
The municipalities where the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine will be administered will be: Cuajimalpa, Magdalena Contreras, Milpa Alta, Cuauhtémoc and Xochimilco.
The vaccination will take place between Tuesday, July 6 and Saturday, July 10. The head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum, said that this Saturday she will give more details on venues and calendars.
On June 22 the Ministry of Health has already enabled the registry on the page of My Vaccine to immunize the population aged 30 to 39 against COVID-19.

They will also apply first doses in adults 40 to 49 years in Benito Juárez, Venustiano Carranza and Gustavo A. Madero.
Y second doses for adults ages 50 to 59 in Gustavo A. Madero, Cuajimalpa, Milpa Alta, Magdalena Contreras and Iztapalapa.

“Although there is an increase, they are at very low levels and fortunately we do not see an exponential acceleration in the hospitalization rate … it is growing at a slow rate,” he said.

The increase in cases is focused on the gpeople from 18 to 29 and 30 to 39; there is a less intense increase among those aged 40 to 49 years.

Regarding hospitalizations, admissions have increased from 48 to 89 in the last four weeks. He specified that, in the last week, it went from 75 to 89 daily admissions.
In the case of hospital deaths, 17 deaths were recorded daily in the last week; the minimum that has been had is 9 deaths. Since June 7 and 8, the average is 13 to 17 deaths per coronavirus up to date.
