Through a statement, the Ministry of Health (MINSA) announced that, “with a view to expanding the number of people vaccinated against COVID-19, the strategy called “Get Vaccinated in Your Neighborhood” will continue next Monday, in the corregimiento of El Chorrillo.
On the other hand, the information highlighted that, yesterday, Saturday “the team of nurses from the Ministry of Health took over areas such as Central Avenue and the commercial sector of Calidonia, taking advantage of the influx of people as a result of school purchases, where doses were applied to the target population to be vaccinated from 5 years of age”.
For today, Sunday, the MINSA notified that “there will be a vaccination day in San Miguelito, in Los Andes Mall (7:00 am to 3:00 pm) and in Metro Mall (9:00 am to 5:00 pm); while, in Veraguas, it will take place at the Santiago health center, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm”.
A preliminary report in San Miguelito, pointed out that in this district 1,260 pediatric doses and 1,224 adults were applied yesterday until 2 in the afternoon.
