At 5 pm this Monday, September 27, in Bogotá there were only 5,316 second doses of Moderna’s vaccine left.
The application of these doses in the capital began last Saturday, September 25 and in three days (25, 26, 27) stocks were exhausted.

“After having received 62,580 doses of Moderna brand vaccine from the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the District Health Secretariat is allowed to report that, as of this Monday, September 27, the city has applied 57,664 doses of this brand and only has 5,316 doses“, reported the district authorities.
So, they added, the less than 6,000 doses available will be applied, at the latest, this Tuesday the 28th in the morning.

“The city continues to wait for the delivery of new doses that allow
resume the application of second doses corresponding to Moderna“, they manifested.
According to the authorities, the behavior of citizens has been exemplary during these vaccination days.
As of Saturday, September 25, the Ministry of Health reported, 44,168,166 doses against the covid had been distributed in the country. Of these, 39,610,550 had been applied and the number of people with complete regimens, of one or two doses, was 16,538,611.

Bogotá, with 7,209,607 doses, is the area of the country where they have been applied the most.
