Vaccination days at San Juan Diego church this week

This Tuesday, February 8 and Wednesday, February 9, two vaccination days in northwest Dallas.

The event is sponsored by the Councilor Omar Narvaez, the Hispanic Contractors Association and the Texas Division of Emergency Management, indicates a statement from the councilman’s office.

Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be offered at the vaccination clinic for people 11 years of age and older. Masks will also be given to people.

“I am pleased with this partnership with the Hispanic Contractors Association in District 6,” Narvaez said in the statement. “Cases in the Hispanic community have been high and in order to beat covid-19 we are giving free tests and vaccines to the community.”

Participants in this vaccination day must wear a mask and maintain social distance protocols. Registration is not required for this event.

“Since last year we have participated together (with Councilman Narváez) in a dozen events to protect thousands of Hispanic workers and students,” added Frank Fuentes, director of the Hispanic Contractors Association.
