Children over 12 years of age will be able to enter sports stadiums and arenas as long as they present their physical or virtual vaccination card with the two doses of the covid-19 vaccine.
This is how the Supreme Decree No. 016-2022-PCM published today in the Legal Norms of El Peruano, in which the Government sets new measures in the framework of the pandemic. The rule goes into effect this Monday, February 28.–
The rule imposes the same requirement when children over 12 years of age use interprovincial land transport and national air transport, where they can only board if they prove their full dose of vaccination against covid-19.
However, if they have not completed the immunization schedule, they must present a negative molecular test with a result date of no more than 48 hours before boarding.
Over 18 years
In the case of those over 18 years of age, entry to the stadiums and coliseums will only be if they prove the application of the booster dose or third dose of the vaccine, adds the Supreme Decree.
During sporting events, it is mandatory that attendees permanently wear a KN95 mask, or failing that, a surgical mask and a cloth mask.
It should be noted that entry to stadiums and coliseums is only enabled in provinces with a moderate alert level, such as Lima and Callaowhere the capacity for stadiums is 80% and to the coliseums 60%.-
State of emergency
Through the same Supreme Decree, he extended the national state of emergency for 32 calendar days due to the circumstances that affect the life and health of people as a result of covid-19.
It is also recalled that parades, patron saint festivities and civil activities remain suspended, as well as all types of meetings, social, political or other events that involve concentration or agglomeration of people, which put public health at risk.
Military and police ceremonies are excepted from this last measure, which must comply with the respective health provisions and rules of physical or physical distancing.
