If you want to enter a bar, a restaurant or some great entertainment event in Bogotá, it is possible that from this Tuesday they will ask for your vaccination card.
Remember that, by District mandate, all entertainment establishments that want to operate with a capacity of 100% must require the certificate from their customers.
A week ago, Bogota issued Decree 442 of 2021, which regulates and specifies in which cases the Vaccination card.

Where will the vaccination card be requested?
According to article 1 of Decree 442 of 2021, the certificate in establishments or entertainment events that want to handle a capacity of 100%. The places are:
– Bares
– Gastrobars
– Restaurants
– Cinemas
– Nightclubs
– Dance venues
– Concerts
– Casinos
– Bingo
– Recreational activities
– Sports venues (like El Campín)
Article 2 also mentions that it will be mandatory in:
– Amusement parks
– Theme parks
– Museums
– Fairs
However, the Undersecretary of Health, Manuel González, clarified that the document will not be requested to enter informal commerce sectors such as San Victorino, food courts, and public transport. This measure is detailed for interaction in public places, where precautions such as the use of masks, social distancing of 2 meters, and constant hand washing must still be observed.
What document is valid?
If they ask for the certificate, you can submit:
– The physical vaccination card
– The digital certificate issued in My Vaccine
How many doses should I have?
The decree states that, at a minimum, you must have the first dose.
Since when will they ask me for a certificate?
Paragraph 1 of article 1 of the decree indicates that the measure will enter into force:
– From November 16 for people over 18 years old.
– From November 30 for people over 12 years old.
Children between the ages of 0 and 12 are exempt from the requirement.

Is the use of a face mask still mandatory?
Yes. The mandatory use of face masks, constant ventilation in establishments and hand washing and disinfection are still in force.
What happens if the measures are not complied with?
According to the decree:
“Failure to verify the aforementioned measures and those established by the Ministry of Health by the commercial establishments will give rise to the sanctions contemplated in this decree, to the corrective measures established in the National Police and Coexistence Code, that establishes the immediate suspension of the activity “.
