Vaccination against HPV for 13 and 14-year-old girls in Uruapan, Michoacán

Uruapan, Michoacán, August 10, The Michoacán Ministry of Health (SSM) invites families from Uruapan to take their 13 and 14-year-old adolescents to be vaccinated against the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), at the facilities of the urban health center, José Alvarez Amezquita.

The vaccine will only be applied on Fridays while supplies last, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., reported the director of the medical unit, Julio César Espinoza Rochín.

To request the biological, a copy of the Unique Population Registry Code (CURP) must be presented, where it indicates that the minor is 13 or 14 years old.

The HPV vaccine consists of a single dose and offers solid protection against cervical cancer, as this is one of the main types of cancer affecting adult women.
