The Ministry of Health (Minsa) announced that people over 40 years of age can already receive the fourth dose of the coronavirus vaccine (COVID-19) starting today, June 15.
In a statement, the Minsa indicated that the application of the fourth dose will be according to the progress of coverage in each region and the closing of gaps.
In addition, he stressed that this dose continues to be administered to citizens over 18 years of age with comorbidities, immunosuppressed people and health personnel, as well as the corresponding doses in the population over 5 years of age throughout the country.
However, the Ministry of Health He emphasized that the fourth dose should be applied to anyone 5 months after receiving the third dose against COVID-19.
