Vaccination against Covid-19 announced to children under 9 years of age in 23 municipalities of Edoméx – El Sol de Toluca

The Governments of Mexico and the State of Mexico announced the beginning of the Vaccination day for 9-year-old boys and girls in 23 Mexican municipalities, and the application of second doses to boys and girls aged 12 and 13 in 17 municipalities.

For the application of the biological, it will be necessary for minors to go in the company of an adult between 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at their vaccination center in their municipality of residence; They must bring their CURP or birth certificate and proof of address.

Girls and boys from 9 years

On Monday, August 8, the biological will apply in the municipalities of Isidro Fabela, Jilotzingo, Coyotepec, Cuautitlán, Cuautitlán Izcalli, Melchor Ocampo, Tepotzotlán, Tultepec, Tultitlán and Teoloyucan, and on August 8 and 9 in Nicolás Romero.

On August 8, the biological test will be applied in Naucalpan, Tlalnepantla, and Atizapán de Zaragoza to children whose first surname is from A to M, while on August 9, those with the initial letter of their first surname with the letter N to Z

In Apaxco, Hueypoxtla, Jaltenco, Nextlalpan, Tequixquiac and Tonanitla, the vaccination of children under nine years of age will be on August 9 and in Huehuetoca and Zumpango from August 9 to 11.

Finally, in Tecámac, the vaccination day will be divided into two phases. August 9 corresponds to boys and girls whose first surname begins with the letter A to I; on August 10 from J to Q and on August 11 from R to Z.

Girls and boys 12 and 13 years old

The application of the second doses in boys and girls aged 12 and 13 will take place in Isidro Fabela and Jilotzingo on August 8.

In Naucalpan, Tlalnepantla, Nicolás Romero and Atizapán de Zaragoza, the day will be divided into three phases: on August 8 for boys and girls whose first surname begins with the letter A to I, on August 9 for J to Q and on August 10 from R to Z.

As it is a municipality with a high population rate, in Ecatepec vaccination will be divided into five phases; from A to E on August 8; from F to J on August 9; from K to Ñ on August 10; from O to T on August 11 and from U to Z on August 12.

In Coacalco vaccination will be from A to I on August 10; from J to Q on August 11 and from R to Z on August 12.

In the municipalities of Apaxco, Hueypoxtla, Jaltenco, Nextlalpan, Tequixquiac and Tonanitla, the immunization day against Covid-19 will be on August 16 and in Huehuetoca and Zumpango from August 16 to 18.

Finally, in Tecámac, the vaccination process will be carried out from A to I on August 16; from J to Q on August 17 and from R to Z on August 18.

To prevent crowding at vaccination sites, state and federal authorities urged the population to stagger their arrival as much as possible, as well as continue with preventive health measures even after having been vaccinated.
