The Ministry of Health of Ukraine plans to revaccinate the population against coronavirus infection. It is planned to administer two doses.
However, vaccination with an additional third or booster dose is not considered. This was announced by the chief sanitary doctor Igor Kuzin in the air TV channel “Rada”.
He explained that a person who received two doses of the coronavirus vaccine in 2021 should receive two of the same in 2022. Booster vaccination can only be recommended for certain categories of the population, Kuzin noted. This can affect people with chronic diseases.
The sanitary doctor was unable to answer whether it would be necessary to revaccinate against COVID-19 every year. Kuzin added that since the start of the vaccination campaign in Ukraine, 8.37 million people have been vaccinated, which is about 20% of the country’s population.
As reported OBOZREVATEL earlier, in Kiev, to one of the hospitals seven patients with coronavirus were hospitalized at oncewho had severe symptoms of the disease, and at the same time they had vaccination certificates. As it turned out, the vaccination documents were forged.
