Europeans who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 will be able to enter France from June 9 without having to provide evidence of a negative PCR test. French Transport Minister Jean-Baptiste Djebbari announced this on CNEWS on Friday.

Travelers from Britain and the United States, even if they are vaccinated, will still be required to present a negative PCR test, according to a document published by the French government on Friday.
From 9 June, the flow of travelers between France and abroad will be reopened according to modalities that vary according to the health situation of countries, classified by color (green, orange and red) and vaccination.

Green countries
For countries classified as “green” (European Area, Australia, South Korea, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, New Zealand and Singapore), no compelling reason is required and a PCR or antigen test of less than 72 hours is only requested for non-vaccinated persons.
People who have had a full vaccination course for at least 14 days on the date of travel (four weeks before the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) are considered vaccinated.

Red countries
For countries classified as “red” (South Africa, Argentina, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Turkey, Uruguay) there is a compelling reason required to travel to France and PCR or antigen testing is required whether one is vaccinated or not. In addition, on arrival on French soil, a quarantine of 7 to 10 days is imposed.
Orange countries
For countries classified as “orange, such as the United States or Great Britain, a PCR or antigen test is required, even if the traveler is vaccinated.
